    Goodness, Rob! Is this the Celtic Welsh way of taking care of moles, then??? Here, in Vermont, we just use chewing gum and plastic explosives!

    Aah, but the Welsh do subtle. Nothing so brash for my celtic cousins. We're the same (see post re Harris Tweed above)!

    No good. I tried Semtex, but they liked like the smell too much.

    Yes, I can see this. A quiet dinner party at Glenfarg Mansion (stuffed deer-heads and Celtic crossed swords on the wall) for the English guests. Sipping a wee dram in the fast-fading evening light, as said guests silently query the pair of Harris trews spread on the lawn. You turn to them and whisper "Mole deterrent... let me top you up...."
