Nice change of pace. I actually think given the variety of sports there are out there, we should be able to see some interesting images on sports. Don't got a rusty roof picture. sorry...

#22 Good shed, John; seems you got to it just in time! A nice range of colours as well.
Is that in Scotland? We've thousands of buildings of that calibre spread across Australia.
Just a quick addition to Rustyshutter's comments. This was from an air display during the 2007 Regatta and featured a Spitfire, Hurricane & Lancaster - triple goosebumps!
We had the Red Arrows last year but I didn't bother to watch. For me, there was no comparison.
You do have to be quick Pete!! My candidate for the huge beast dipped out by minutes (I reckon) to the excellent hippo shot; I trust my dinosaur gets a run sometime .. perhaps will fit another heading.
Your fire is scary!! Those choppers are fabulous in their dousing runs.
Right now, we're experiencing terrible bush fires in our Southern States, following more than a week of temperatures in the mid 40s (Celsius)

Richard, yes Africa indeed, although not quite in the "wild" It was taken at a place called Haller Park, Bamburi Beach, Kenya. Luckily this chap was behind a large wall! Hippos kill more people in Africa than any other animal combined apparently.
Pete, awsome, although I liked the one you posted a while back with a similar background but with a police officer in his car.

I hope you'll forgive liberty taken here on two counts
1.. Not my photo (taken by my wife, who suggested it might be a fun entry one day)
2.. subject is Moi! What a mug!
I won't be disappointed if it is disqualified (where's the smiley when you need one?)

Nice to meet you Richard and so obviously enjoying! Thanks for the hippo Mark, you rarely see the whole beast, but a lovely mouth & always happy to be reminded of 2 years in Kenya when younger. I remember conversations beside Lake Baringo, one of our favourite swimming spots, as to whether it was safer if you could see their dear little heads or if you couldn't
I saw an "out of the box" joke the other day that made me laugh. Cat was sitting in it's litter box - owner was saying to it: "Never - EVER - Think Outside the Box!"
So - Richard - now that we have an out of the box, what's next?
Hmmm ... Outside the Square??
