found this site by accident , buts looks and feels really friendly. I am from Lincolnshire, uk and own a Nikon 300D but have yet to learn how to take a photograph i am proud of, rather than a snap if you know what i mean. Certanly different having an SLR to a point and shoot but hopefully not too old to learn at my young age of 54.Happy Days to one and all.

Hi Tony I have only been on here for a week so am still real new too. I am only 32 years new to SLRs and still learning too ! I also have a Nikon 300D and love it to bits, although about ready to upgrade. This is a good site. I have been learning from the tutorials for a couple of years now and find them the best on the net, but only just launched into the forum last week, and its the first one I ever joined except for the local photography club one. It is really friendly; well, so far so good anyway !
