Sorry about the late announcement of this months winners ... it was so close (again) that I decided to wait until we had a bit of a better picture (no pun intended!) as to who the "true king" was. Well, it sorta worked ...
In first place - on 45 points - we have Chris (MiniChris) with ...
PS: I take my hat off to you Chris for finally achieving what I've never been able to ... a win in the monthly competition with portraiture!
And in 2nd / 3rd place - tied on 36 points each - we have Glen & Rob with ...

congrats all 3, they are all beautiful shots. Chris, I have been enjoying your posts with the dancers, you capture them so well and showing them in black and white gives them something just a bit whimsical that I don't think they'd have in color..

On this forum, I am yet the learner and shall be for some time to come (I hope as long as I can still hold a camera). I see Rob, Colin, Elise, Wendy, Martyn, Peter, Dave, Kay, Donald and of course McQ as well as a bunch of others as the real teachers. Even you have shared so much for me to learn about macro, Andre about landscapes, etc. There is no limitation to what we can pass on to one another. I am a teacher, but what I pass on to my students is what each of you has accomplished in hopes they too shall bridge that gap and carry forth a beautiful art form.
