I really like the composition with the space on the left. I have taken some myself with similar "space" and it works for me as well. The blue in the background really highlights the flower well.

I was taking pictures of great white egret and had extender 2.0 attached. I think, I was as far away from the flower as 3 to 5 meters. I found exif info stated that "subject distance: 287/100". The composition is ok, but it could use a bit more tension if you get my drift. The flowers are spot on in the middle, so I find my eye going to the center spot and not moving around at all.Quote:
