Bryan and Louise, I enjoyed both of your photos --even though sunflowers are not my favourite flowers!
Peter, good depth of field in the rhodo photo. Was it a longish exposure with the aperture stopped well down?
I'm new to the CIC forum but I thought that I might as well jump right in. I hope that I am doing it right.
I have been very impressed with some of the work on this thread. These two are a couple of the ones I took this week of the Hydrangea in my front yard.

Ian, that blue is pretty blue. It is good to have that leaf there for colour comparison, otherwise one might think it wasn't real. Very nice and I actually like the composition of that green and blue together.

As Bruce I tend to prefer the first, but the second has a nice colour contrast.
