I have been enjoying the fine English weather for the last week. Full sun most of the days Sunday through Thursday and just a spot of rain on the Friday.
At one pub where we ate outside we had to go under a parasol, we couldn't stay in the sun.

One visit was to Great Dixter, which at this time of the year had the most beautiful garden I've seen in years. More flowers than in May when we also visited and beautiful colours all around.

I told my wife (who is the gardener in the family) that these dahlias were flowers I really liked. She took note of it and I might get lucky next year:D.
