Lesser celandine, gagea and scilla. The lesser celandine is known to be invasive in some parts of the USA, but here in a park in Stockholm, it's the gagea that takes the space. The only one of these that is planted is the scilla, and it is supposed to be a lawn, but there is hardly any grass at all.
Ok--I've never done this before so let's see if I get it

Louise, this shot was taken against the wall of our house here outside Athens but taken some years ago. I don't remember the name but will find out and post it.
for some reason, I have been uable to post photos to this thread. Any ideas?
Tinypics does not work in this Thread?
What a great thread- I have spent so much time here appreciating all the lovely fotos! Thanks! I´m motivated now!
Dona, Randy, welcome in the thread and hope you can post soon.
What I do (in Firefox) is first of all upload my photos to Flickr. It can be another program as well of course. Then if you want to post in this thread go to your Flickr photo, click on Action - all sizes, select the right size and right click on copy image location.
In your post click on the Insert Image icon (in the menu above the post you are making) and paste the image location.
That is it. Not sure whether it works the same in Internet Explorer, but it will be similar.
Hope this helps.
