I do not have a macro lens yet, but have experimented with taking very close pictures. Perhaps they could be called "pseudo-macro". The Nikon 105mm AF-S VR Macro is the one that I am looking at to buy. Camera: Nikon D7000. Still learning how to use the camera, my first DSLR, have owned it almost a year. The photos I see on this thread are beautiful, hope I can do as well.
This flower is in my garden - not sure what it is, it came from a hummingbird-friendly wildflower medly.
This flower is a ground cover called Purple Dragon (real name is something like Dead Nettle). It is very small and dainty.
