Great shots Franci. Love the detail on those petals. Nice light too.
We walked 8 hours, and I too the pictures in the last 5 minutes, few meters from the car
Thanks, that one it's more of a close-up crop with a old M42 nifty fifty at minimum focus distance, I don't own a true macro lens, yet.
Welcome Fabian, I also prefer your #3, and Peter's 1st shot. I like Andrea's crocuses, too.
Thanks all for the warm welcome, here are a few more, but not to many to spam the thread :P
#1
(A bit soft but I wanted to shoot wide open to get the "green gue bokeh")
#2
(I may not have a true macro lens but I do have enough macro tubes to get really close)
#3
(I don't know if this counts as a flower but is pink so why the hell not :P)
#4
(Nifty Fifty is my most use lens by far and I find it most useful)
#5
(This was one of my first photo when I started "obsessing" with "taking photos")
#6
(Same as above, I started shooting with a http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_p990-1318.php back in the days)
I like number 4 most in this series Fabian, nice composition somehow with those vague spots in the background. Your 2nd photo is a bit dark, it would have been nice to see that white pop out a bit more.
Thanks for the tip, those "vague spots" where so random that I only realize them after I got home with the pictures, I like shooting wide open but sometimes going down to f 4-5.6 give you some nice hexagonal light spots bokeh if you use them to your advantage, ex (off topic subject):
(I wanted to get him in focus but he was dropping, from a tree, really fast and all swirly so I had to open up the aperture for more DOF, but still fails just before he got on the ground, using manual focus lenses has it's disadvantages, still it's not all waysted shutter click ^_^)
Sorry about double post, deleted

Looks a bit like anthrrhinium, but I'll try to check. Quite delicate, lovely.
