    I think that's what it is. I still have to consult my wife on the name of this flower, but I felt lucky to have found it like this.

    Peter, yes, these looks like irises to me. I especially like the first photo. How did you arrange the lighting?

    Lighting was actually very simple. My walls are white in my house with white porcelain tiles on the floor. I put the flowers about 50cm from a corner and using an off camera flash, aimed it at the walls behind the flowers. I then played with the flash output until it was washing out the background but still keeping the detail in the flowers. I might have had a reflector at the front, but can't remember.
