It's still raining outside so I'm still playing around in my digital darkroom. This image was inspired by an art book I read in my accountant's office while waiting to have my taxes done. The artist (I forgot his name ) was very good but his thing was to put realistic objects in abstract settings. Using his concept I tried to use photography and photoshop to create an image with a bit of mystery and objects to suggest lines of thought without leading the viewer anywere in particular. I ended up liking it but it's not for everyone. Here, try this mushroom then look at it.....

Thanks Jiro....the guitars seemed good to include as musical instruments evoke certain feelings. Both guitars are mine, my grandson is playing one.

Good idea and well executed. I'm not so sure about the inclusion of the key. Maybe it's because it's too strong - if it was more faded? Or is it the angle it's at - sort of cutting across the frame?

But I do like the concept and all the other elements in the image.

Thank you Donald....I don't think it would hurt at all if I had faded the key a little more...I spent a lot of time playing with layer sequence, opacity, masking, etc. and ended up where I did. After I let it sit and cool off a little I may revisit the original and make such changes.

Yes it is about 5 miles from where I live. I have been there twice on tours but never with a camera. the local camera shop just had a photo class followed with a shot there.
