ENTERING. Add your MONOCHROME/B&W image in a new post below. Make sure to change your post title to a name for your picture (click the "Go Advanced" button). We request that there be just one entry per person, and that any tinted images utilize no more than one color. For help posting images, go here.
VOTING. When this competition reaches 10 entries, a poll will be automatically added and any member may then vote. After 3 days, voting ends and the winner is determined.
Once voting begins, a new competition will be automatically started.

Note: Please do not request feedback, or make comments on other images, until after voting has closed as it could be unfair to other entrants.

I am happy to see your image won the competition, there is something about it that really appeals to me emotionally. Probably something from all of that Texas history in grade school.

Hi Jiro, congratulations on your win. There is something about it that really appealed to me emotionally as well. In my case it had more to do with the John Wayne film
Yosemite Falls, even seeing the falls through someone else's eyes is fantastic - great shot and B&W work.
