ENTERING. Add your MONOCHROME/B&W image in a new post below. Make sure to change your post title to a name for your picture (click the "Go Advanced" button). We request that there be just one entry per person, and that any tinted images utilize no more than one color. For help posting images, go here.
VOTING. When this competition reaches 10 entries, a poll will be automatically added and any member may then vote. After 3 days, voting ends and the winner is determined.
Once voting begins, a new competition will be automatically started.

Note: Please do not request feedback, or make comments on other images, until after voting has closed as it could be unfair to other entrants.

Stepping Out
An excellent recent post of a sepia toned tractor, made me think to try and do this with some horse and buggy shots. Apologies for copying the look, but I think it works well with the horse and buggies too.

) and, now that I'm over the shock....
Congratulations to Mark and Wendy, too, on such lovely photos. I put this in, knowing that there were such beautiful photos - sure that you would win. (btw, Mark, I want to be there!!! I LOVED the colored view of the harbor, too.)

Katy, congrats on a wonderful image. As Mike has said, I could feel the cold and taste the the snow. Your winner has taught me to look at scenes differently. The mini comp standard is getting higher and higher and I'm really having to learn and take more care and time over my shots just to get a look in. Stonehaven, somewhere I've just discovered and it is beautiful.
