That looks as if it's just getting ready to swallow lens and camera and have a good go at the person holding them as well! Sort of, "Don't get any closer mate" look.

Very good management of DoF. Shows us, very clearly, the body of the bird, the focuses all attention on the head. I like the composition and think it's a very good image.
