Sunsets in Tagoloan (Philippines) happens very fast. From burning the sensor to fully dark takes only 10..15 minutes. I have to adapt to the different lights there too.
The dynamic range was now, I think, too big for my camera to handle. With post processing I could do a lot but still couldn’t get in the picture what I saw at that moment.
I use only Nikon Capture NX2 so combining pictures is not yet possible for me. Next time I can try to use also portable Gimp. That works now from my USB stick. I've bought for this cases the Cokin Z-Pro with 121(S, L, M) filters. Hopefully it is a wise decision.

Thanks Jiro, your comment is exactly to the point. That noise I have to reduce. Hopefully with the use of GND filters I can reach that.

This picture is the last I could make. Within a minute it was to dark.
The sky can be so beautiful there.

That's also nice, Jan. Philippines is surrounded by waters and has many islands so wherever you go you will have the opportunity to be mesmerized by either the lovely sunset or the glorious sunrise. Hope to see some more from this series, Jan.
