Popye The Tractor
Another old tractor; but this one is still working around the fish quay.

It is a David Brown and is lifting the bronze centre keel from a Salcombe Yawl.

Beautiful machine.
The first seems is a bit busy and, I think, could do with the exposure taken back a bit.
The second is, I think, a much better picture in which the tractor is very much the focus of attention

Yes, Donald, but I included the first photo because it shows what they are lifting.
I did play around with that one but the new paint is causing a bit of dazzle. It was an awkward light angle; about 3 pm and the tractor is facing SE. Probably a little bit more selective adjustment is required, although I did tone down some of the white areas.
Looking again at the second image. His face was starting to get a bit noisy so I reduced that a bit. On reflection, I think I may have gone a little bit too far.

I have had a second go at the first image with more selective adjustments, but I can't alter the background. That is just the nature of this area. In fact I tried many angles and these two were the clearest of background clutter.
