On #1, I would probably recommend cloning out the leaf on the front and the one at the top right. For both images, I think this would work best on a black and white rendition. I like your concept here, Mariejo. The color doesn't seem to complement the shot that is why I am recommending a black and white option. Hope this helps.

I would agree with Willie. The pattern of the sand is very strong in its own right.
Is this a place where you can re-visit to shoot again? Lots of potential. I would be tempted to go for just patterns of sand; i.e. not including any of the grass or its shadows.

oh...Not a place I go often...that was shoot during my vacation in Cuba...I was looking at sand when I saw that COULD be really nice to shoot...I am surely going to try it again, or something similar next time !!! thanks for your comments...MJ

I like the sand pattern and texture....agree with Jiro on the out of focus elements.
