A Sunny Day in Texas (C&C please)
We had an assignment in photography class, and this is what I came up with. Please be completely honest.

What was the assignment? If we know what your task was, we can give our views as to how far you have achieved that objective.

As Donald said, it is difficult to give a firm opinion without more details.
However, as a general photo, I would say that it is a pity about that strong sun area in the middle. You may be able to tone it down a little but I don't think that it would be practical to do anything else.

So, as the teacher in me is of want to say...what was it about this scene that caught your fancy? What emotional response, if any, were you trying to capture; and lastly, why that exposure combination?

I guess what I liked about this scene was how in a way it was as if light was returning to the world after a dark period. I was just coming out of a dark period myself, so it was like a sign of hope to me.
