Hi kaskais. Thanks for yet another dramatic shot. My only concern here is that you have not been able to participate in the discussions that have followed. A few members have asked questions to find out more about previous posts. The aim with this "galleries and critiques" forum is a two-way discussion, so that both the photo poster AND the members replying can benefit similarly.

However, seeing as this forum has only been online for a few weeks, it is certainly still in its formative stages. I am open to alternatives. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has feedback on this, and what they would like to get out of this forum section.

i totally agree with mrmcq this is a two way system.we all need to share our thots and pics......i think mrkaskais signature pics are getting monotonous. i do love the way he plays around with colors,all over the frame but i am eagerly waiting to see his more natural pics,as he is talented,he shud spill out more different looking pics for us more members shud show themselves here

Well, my comment is less about the pictures, which I feel are very evocative...but intended as more about the larger topic of what this section should aim to become.

I think Kask doesn't reply back because he/she thinks that his/her English is bad.
But still, I feel the monotony and encourage Kask to try to communicate.

Hmm. I think perhaps he has posted three pictures. It is somewhat soon to be accusing someone of monotony. In any event, this is the style of picture that he prefers and I see nothing wrong with him specialising in that at present.

Monotony, if there is any, would be greatly alleviated by other members posting pictures.

Obviously I am guilty in this respect too, so why have I not posted? Two reasons really. Firstly my most common subject is my partner. I am not sure that either she or I want her image plastered over the internet. Secondly, I am a novice with DSLR photography and I think my images do not pass my own self critical standards, let alone stand up to scrutiny here. The time will come though.

I am not worried about posts that show that the poster is not an native speaker. Spelling and grammar errors in such cases are understood and should be forgiven. Any two way dialogue adds interest.

Thanks for the feedback Adrian. Just so you know, this is #5, but that should not really affect this discussion much. I think you had a good point... kaskais: do not be afraid to participate if you are concerned about spelling/grammar/english. If anything you post is unclear (and I think I know what you are getting at) I can always modify the post so that it is more easily followed in the thread. Again though, thanks for all the posts kaskais...I am just trying to find a way to get more two-way feedback to the other members.
