Leana, great image! One of those images where you can't keep from going...awh, when you see it. I admire those of you who can rescue these guys, give them your time and love, then hand them off to another loving family. I don't think I could give this one away.

Last October I had to put down my dog of 16+ years and although I wasn't ready for another dog, I really wanted to do something positive and save a life if I could. It wasn't easy to let Boo go, but it was best for him. Since he was already two, I didn't think he'd outgrow his fearfulness, but would be happier living with a family in the suburbs vs the city. I've recently begun looking for a puppy to adopt, any ideas for a photography-related name?

The only ones I can think of at the moment are: dodge (as in dodge and burn) and click. Dodge would be one of those names most people wouldn't get. Probably would wonder why you named your dog after a Chrysler product.

Ansel isn't a bad name...most people would get the connection. I am a big Ansel Adams fan and it wouldn't bother me. Especially knowing it came about due to your love for photography. But if you didn't want it to be obvious, you could choose another photographer you admire and use their name. I guess it all depends on what your goal is.
