Autumn in Central Park - C&C welcomed
Thanks to everyone who commented on my previous post; a valuable learning experience. I'd appreciate any C&C on this photo taken in NYC. All and any comments appreciated. Once again I'm striving to get the best composition in the frame I can. Is this shot balanced, do the "lines" and subject placement work for you?

I would say it is colourful, well composed image, but maybe its better if you zoom a bit closer to your subject, imo.

Hi Ray
I really like your picture ![Smile](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/smile.png)
I'm not of the same opinion of Apo, I think that zooing to the woman can distract from the real subject, the autumn. the composition works well in order to show the surrounding autumn. and colours and lines are well balanced in my opinion.
i just would like to see the woman face a bit lighter...
cheers
Nicola

Yes that was my thoughts. A little more selective brightness.
But not overall brightness which will ruin the right hand side that is already bright enough. Another case for an Adjustment Layer plus a partial mask I suspect.

For me, I would love to see the lady sitting on the right side of the rock due to the leading lines present on the frame. Maybe some photoshop manipulation magic can do the trick.

The composition is pleasant enough, although as already said the subject and immediate surrounding area is too dark. I agree with Willie that a little Photoshop magic with some judicial dodging and burning would I am sure work wonders - nice image.
