Now those are really catchy catchlights! You must have used a very large softbox to achieve that. Awesome! I like #2 a lot. Have you heard of the plugin "fractalius", Mark? It works quite well with furry objects. Mind if I show you what it can do? Here's an example using your 2nd image.
