This is my first run on an idea I had. It is a shot of my dad (Army Ret. Colonel and Korean Conflict Veteran) at the Infantry Museum at Fort Benning, GA, superimposed on a shot of the US flag with soldiers marching up the road. He was in 'Splinterville" and paused to reflect.
C&C welcome and wholeheartedly encouraged. If you have better ideas for a font, please let me know. Also, I need to get rid of the green grass that shows through on the right....

Love the idea and the execution but I'm not sure that shorts and sandals suit the mood you're trying to create (not that I have any fashion sense).

LOL! Can't say that he has any fashion sense anyway. At 80, he still wears speedos to swim in.
