Re: White Egret on Easter morning
Yes those are sharp and well exposed photos of a tricky subject.
However, I wonder if your white balance is just a tiny bit on the blue side. Although that might be the rather cheap monitor which I use on my internet computer.

Excellent shots Rob. I escpecially like #3 & 4 because of the intensity and business like attitude of the subject. All of these really need to be viewed in the lyte box where they look even better.
I would be thrilled to get shots like this. Thanks for sharing

Re: White Egret on Easter morning
Thanks All,
These are just a handful of the 176 pictures that I took in the hour I was able to watch this white morph reddish Egret doing his thing. I had a hard time limiting my self to just posting the ones I did. Every time I look at the pictures again I think I should have added this one or that one to the post.
Lucky and right place at the right time.
I was having so much fun taking pictures of him I didn’t want to stop and check my settings.
Thanks again,
Rob

Re: White Egret on Easter morning
Excellent shots, Rob. We get lots of Egrets where we live and I always love watching them. I think #1 and #4 need to be square format as the bird is travelling to the left and there is more space to the rear of it - which looks slightly unbalanced. The last shot looks a little dark on my monitor. I tried a quick edit, if that's OK.

Re: White Egret on Easter morning
Thanks Rob,
No worries on the edit, it does look better. I added the last shot because I thought it was like a going away shot or this is the end shot.
Thank again for the C & C.
Rob
