I was wondering if any of our members had ever thought of using this review process or if you already have what was the experience like?

Never realised that such events existed.

Have to confess about being a bit sceptical about such things, but that's just me. Am I right that you have to pay for the 3 or 6 reviews (as per the pricing schedule) and the organisers allocate a person or persons to provide you with that review? Is it a matter of chance as to whether the person(s) reviewing your work happen to specialise in the sort of photography that you would present (e.g. portraiture, landscape, etc) or is that a matter of chance?

The reviewers include curators, art dealers, directors, publisers and photo editors and the number who will be available for this year's review number 21. So with a maximum of 6 reviews and I believe the process is random, chances are you may not get access to a reviewer for your particular style. However, I am sure the reviewers themselves will choose styles they are more familiar with as the entire process is geared towards photographers who choose particular projects. And yes you have to pay for the reviews.
