It was field day yesterday at my kids school. As usual, I brought along my Nikon D70 fitted with my 18-70mm lens (so I won't change lenses every time) hoping to get some interesting shots of kids at play. Here's one that I got. Thank you very much for viewing.

That's excellent, Willie. An excellent job on the conversion ot B & W. It's the fact that you shot it at 'child-height' and not 'adult-height' that makes it so strong. And having done so, having the adults in the background just adds to the strength. And you set yourself up at a beautiful angle in relation to the kids on the rope.

Just such a well put-together image. One for the rest of us to study and learn from.

I agree, a great shot, expanding a little on what Donald said; I think having the white (field) line go into the corner, plus being dead level with the rope (so it is horizontal), makes this work so well, but of course, that expression is wonderful too and really makes it fly.

Yes. And the two distinct angled lines of people running back from the boy at the front give it great depth. While the building at the rear stops it it neatly. Nice.
