#4 is quite eye-catching, Chris. You must have a nice, beautiful garden by now.
Each of them is wonderful, but the first one has me entranced. I think I could look at that for hours. Beautiful lighting.
Beautiful photos Chris.#1 and #4 are my favorites.
Chris
The fourth shot is sumptuous. Beautifully lit and it certainly keeps the viewer riveted. The WB seems out on 2 and 3. Too cold on 2 and too warm on 3. The other two are spot on though.
I'll recheck the WB but pretty sure I did it both in ACR and as a levels adjustment...but now that I look at them more as a reader and less as an author, I can see the color shift. I wonder if it has something to do with the background which was greener than I wanted, so I did a little adjusting with my replace color tool.
Those are some beautiful flowers & shots, Chris.
Ever tried reversing 50mm?
Chris, I think you are right. It is the combination of colours and their respective brightness that probably gives the illusion of a slight caste. I have noticed this before with some images even though the PP data indicates otherwise. That is one reason why I rarely use the PP tools to set the WB. I always try to do it by eye.
Very nicely done Chris, I am with Donald on #1 but I like #4 as well.
