I wondered if you had blurred the background more by going wider than f8, would have brought pout the place even more. Or maybe you wanted to ensure that the trees and mountains could be recognised as such and not have them blurred.

Personally, I was trying for some motion blur in the background, so I really should have stopped down to f/11, at least (this was taken at f/8). Otherwise, I'm not all that pleased with the colors, either, but I'm still working on it, and I think I'm figuring it out. Thanks for the comment, Donald.
