Seems like you have a lot of wonderful memories and that's the most important part of vacationing. The photos look great and you got the chance to see a famous actor, although I have to admit I have yet to sit through a Harry Potter movie.

Thanks for the feedback! I almost felt embarrassed by that first one (not because it's Freudian - ack!) because, obviously, someone who is brilliant is the one who planned out those buildings and how/where they sit. Can I take credit? I just framed the shot. Anyway, there's a lot of powerful capability in that place. It was very stimulating and I like/miss that about the city. When I got home, though.... it's so beautiful, here in Vermont, I can hardly believe it. Anyway, I'm too sleepy to think of what else to say; so, that's all!

Good to hear you're back safe and sound - and had a great time!
And we didn't really hijack your thread too much this time - Hey it's only got to 3 pages - that's not even close compared to last time!

And I'm still alive after our little antipodean meet-up and yet we haven't heard from Peter or Raylee...
This either makes me the fiendish one and I have them both locked away in my dungeon as we speak.......
or perhaps they are both leading busy & interesting lives which preclude them from making contact...whereas alas I am destined to debate merits of macintoshes with the west welshman in betwixt tractor spotting with the scotsman

Although if I keep them locked up for long enough someone is bound to write a book about my exploits

What do you think about this one? (I'm just way to insecure to give the silly thing it's own thread.)

    Help me, Guys!

    Thanks much, as always!

Nicely framed, nice exposure, only thing it's missing is a nice blue sky.

I know, we had white skies until late afternoon, every day. This is in B&W, though..... so.....I'm confused. and, then, it is possible to add a blue sky in photoshop?

I can't believe that this is B&W, did you do a remove color or did you use the saturation slider? I see a blue tint in the building.

Interesting building. I like the starkness, created by the absence of any defintion in the sky. It's striking. And the reflection of the other buildings around it give us not only context, but also good lines through the image.

    Thanks, Donald!

Thanks, John and Ashwin! Soooo, what does the B in B&W stand for to you? Not B-lue, then? I really should have said, technically, monochromatic. I used the "fade" (which I often do) which does give it a blue tint. The tree is "blue", too, though. I thought that's what gave it away. I really appreciate your feedback and thanks, Ashwin, for showing me the edit. Maybe, in a few months, I'll have formed my own opinion or idea of what i think about it.
