There are lots of good, strong lines and shapes in that.
I was wondering why you chose the composition that you did. I'm not sure that the doorways/windows at ground level on the extreme left and extreme right, contribute a huge amount to the image. I think the main interest is in the stairway and, perhaps that tiles floor.
For that reason, I wonder if a much tighter composition on the stairway, so that it occupies a much larger proportion of the frame, might have been worthwhile? This may have required you spending some time just looking at the scene to determine the best location for the shot. Bit it looks as if that might have been worth doing, because that handrail and the steps curving around certainly offers tremendous possibilities.

Wow that is one amazing looking staircase! In my opinion getting down low and shooting up at the staircase would have made it looking even bigger and more majestic, I would also suggest shooting horizontally to eliminate the doors on either side, as Donald already suggested, to draw out the detail in that handrail.
