    Abstract

Took this picture last November at Thirlmere in the Lake District UK, I used a slow shutter speed 1/8th sec and moved the camera slowly in a vertical plane, I had about five try`s before I got the result I wanted, the sky, trees and the undergrowth.

I like this, Mick. I've done a few myself, and it is difficult to get it right. I used a bit of Vaseline on an old UV filter on the lens to get more of a smeary look. Here http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4022/...f62befef_o.jpg

I like the strong colours in yours, and it's very refreshing to see a 'different' landscape.

    I don't normally like abstracts

Although I don't normally like abstracts; I really like this one. I could see it as a large oil painting.

Thanks for the comment Rob, I`v had a look at yor woodland abstract, and I think it would look great as a streached canvas

Thanks Richard, I`m thinking of having a streached canvas done of this image, as I`m into canvases at the moment.
